The OPV 700 is a multi-mission offshore patrol vessel designed for the Polish Border Guard's operations in the challenging ice conditions of the Baltic Sea. Built with a reinforced steel hull and aluminium superstructures, the vessel features fully diesel-electric propulsion with azimuthal thrusters for enhanced operational efficiency and superior manoeuvrability. Specifically configured for Frontex operations, the vessel strengthens the protection of the European Union's external maritime borders.
