Building on our extensive experience in designing various professional vessels, MAURIC has recently developed several special cargo vessel designs up to 200m, ranging from LNG bunker vessels to sailing cargo ships. Our designs focus on three main objectives: operability, comfort and safety, and sustainability.
Recent IMO rules and regulations for large cargo vessels have encouraged shipowners and designers to develop innovative projects for fleet renewal. MAURIC responds by creating customized cargo vessel designs that are perfectly adapted to operational and environmental constraints.
Our expertise in hull design, combined with our knowledge of state-of-the-art energy and propulsion systems integration, allows us to propose efficient and environmentally friendly vessels. This is achieved through hybridization, the use of alternative fuels such as methanol, hydrogen or ammonia, and the incorporation of wind propulsion or wind assistance.
The Neoliner 136 Origin exemplifies the type of project MAURIC can undertake specifically for shipowners. This design aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 80% to 90% compared to an equivalent conventional diesel-propelled cargo vessel.
