MAURIC has designed a range of Coastal Patrol Vessels for Surveillance and Protection (critical infrastructures such as naval bases, harbours and terminals, industrial coastal sites...) and Search and Rescue missions. Thus, these vessels correspond to the needs of Coast guards, Customs, Naval Forces, Police or even Private Protection Companies.

As André Mauric, the founder of the company, started the company design activities around the design of Patrol and Service Vessel in 1945, MAURIC has a long-standing experience in designing Patrol Vessels. Nowadays, MAURIC continue to develop its specific know-how for this kind of boats. Our 2 latest Coastal Patrol Vessels designed by MAURIC have been launched in 2016 and 2017 for French Customs. Our range of Coastal Patrol Vessels designs is currently composed by 28 to 32 meters long vessels, built in Aluminium and some are able to reach a speed of 28 knots. Other designs are available in FRP too.

Our solutions have the specificity to be completely tailor-made through their shape, hull form, propulsion, engine, equipment, and most of them are sea-proven. Several configurations are possible for these Coastal Patrol Vessels: various weapons, or surveillance and communication systems for example. In designing Coastal Patrol Boats, MAURIC is focused on high level of manoeuvrability, operability and sea-keeping for every speed and sea state, like Fast Patrol Boats. We also attach a great importance to cost efficiency, offering vessels with low operating (fuel efficiency) and maintenance costs. Moreover, our Coastal Patrol Vessels are particularly comfortable for the crew to maintain high operability levels and we integrate efficient launch and recovery systems for fast RHIBS (davits or stern ramps).
