MAURIC has a long history in naval architecture, from special hull form of a sailing boat in 1973 like Pen Duick VI designed by André Mauric, to fast crafts, offshore catamarans, offshore patrol vessels or passengers ferries.
Our naval architects design your tailor-made vessel from the preliminary plan to the detailed project.
MAURIC will be involved in the ship design process of the project from its basic design phase to the last stage of detailed design and tests & trials.
At each phase of the project, MAURIC will be in charge not only of her general arrangement and general design but also responsible for calculating her performances (speed, stability, seakeeping, etc.), checking that the vessel is meeting both the operational requirements of the owner and the relevant regulations, etc... Our naval architects and engineers use different software programs to design your vessel: AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Catia v5, ShipConstructor... Many opportunities are up to you to get your ship design: you can ask for a new vessel by giving us detailed specifications, or base your demand on our data sheets. Whatever the type of request, we’re able to adapt our design to your needs.
We have an extended experience in defence sector, offshore industry, fishing activities, passengers or transport, search and rescue... with efficient and sea-proven vessels from 10 to 150 meters long.
Thanks to several decades of experience in ship design and an extensive data base of sea-proven vessels, we’re designing new vessels which are tailor-made, efficient and always at the forefront of innovation. We always adapt our ship designs to the owner’s requirements relying on our existing designs, we can guarantee the performances of the new projects thanks to our Ship Performance Assessment service. If you’re interested by any new type of vessel, hull form studies, or propulsion optimisation... contact us! MAURIC’s engineers and architects are continuously looking for new challenges to improve their skills and to create new concepts and designs. See also our Research & Technology pages to convince you.
